N-Circle Railroad Website Scenery Articles

    My website:

    https://n-circlerailroad.com/home-of-the-n-circle-railroad/

describes the development of the "N-Circle Railroad," a 3.5 x 8 foot home layout built to the N-scale T-Trak modular standard.

The website began as a series of educational articles for the Northwestern Vermont Model Railroad Association, but I recently moved them to this separate website and expanded the story about the layout.

The website contains a growing list of "how-to" articles describing my experiences with building many structures from plastic styrene, laser-cut wood and 3-D printed plastic kits and vehicles from plastic resin, pewter metal and 3-D printed plastic kits. There are also descriptions of building other scenery details.

Index lists of the structures and vehicles kits discussed are provided, so one can look up a kit they may be about to try.

The website does not discuss building or detailing locomotives or rolling stock, but it does have links to videos of trains running on the N-Circle Railroad!

The discussions are intended for beginning to intermediate level modelers, I would not call myself a "Craftsman." But I hope they will provide some useful "Do's" and "Don'ts" guidance to encourage others to build scenery for their N-scale layouts!

    Thanks!

    Ron

Added N-Circle Update 36 to the website today, describing building laser-cut wood kits for a developing public park scene and added Update 37 describing adding previously built structures kits to a set of T-Trak yard modules, and adding basic scenery around them. Enjoy!
