    Greetings “N”-thusiasts!

My pleasure to share a video link with you showing how we honored our fallen members, including NRail’s 3rd President in 52 years, at our September Danville Rail Days show.

Observant members will see how the famous Cotton Brute heavyweight locomotive was retired from service by making a commemorative run in honor of our late President.

NRail has done a marvelous job via the Newsletter and electronic media acknowledging how President Wallis was such a servant leader to our “N”-credible hobby.

(Parenthetically, I personally regret ONLY that I missed seeing John’s final ZoomTRAK episode in July where he promoted the 2026 National T-TRAK Layout scheduled for Chattanooga. I was setting up a show that day, and sadly John’s scheduled talk did not appear in the later-published ZoomTRAK. Perhaps someone will honor John by also reposting his segment to promote that amazing world record setting event.)

“N” -joy the DRDXXIII video linked above, including the parting photos of our dear friends and NRail members Wallis and Kidd.

    Cheers,

    JM Gadoury on behalf of
